Fishing Arkansas - April 2002

Jim, John, and Jerry launch the kayaks and canoes for a trip down the Caddo River. This float was from Arrowhead to the Glenwood Bridge. We also floated from Norman to Caddo Gap on another day. Smallmouth bass (aka brownies) seemed to be abundant just below the swift water.

On Lake Hamilton Jim is pleased with his first bluegill.

John explains to Jim and Jerry where we will find more blue gills and usually he is correct.

John tries out Jim's new kayak while Nick swims along with his stick.

The Little Red River near Camp Albert Pike was a peaceful place to fish for trout.

Robert and Kim did not want to wait for a fish fry.

A stop at Twin Creek Campground on Lake Ouachita was supposed to yield some fine crappie but we did not find them.

We also had a fishing expedition on DeGray Lake for crappie.
