Berries were abundant all though the park. This was a nice park and a pleasant time of the year to be here.
The creeks flowing into the lake were choked with water hyacinths. Chinese tallow trees along the edge provided a hint of fall color.
Camping in secluded site 114 provided a nice view of the many deer that fed across the road each evening along the edge of the lake.
There was an alligator soaking up the sun off this dock one morning.
Water hyacinths were blooming. I don't reach into the water to collect these plants for my pond when there are snakes and alligators.
The nature trails were excellent for both hiking and biking. We rode across this bridge several times as we traversed the woods.
