Kayaking in the fish pass that crosses Mustang Island just north of the state park is a calm and peaceful float on a windy day. It really allows you to be eye level with the many birds hidden in the grasses in the estuary.

I enjoy soaking up some sun and gentle breezes as I paddle out through the narrow pass.
